Company

You need to take a hard look at the company, the founder, CEO and board members. Ask yourself and corporate team members if they are available:

* Do they know what they're doing?
* Do they have experience running a company?
* Do they have the financial support for the company running for a long time?
* What kind of employees they have?
* What are the long-term goals for the company?
* What is their business model and mission statement?

Many companies in this industry was started by former distributors of other companies who want to cash in short-term profits with no plans to continue the company after 3 or 4 years. If you plan to retire and build a lifetime residual income with this company you better make sure will be around in the future.

The Products

* Rule # 1 ... If there are no products ... This is a scam! Must exist to sell products other than it is solely for profit scam.
* Be sure to evaluate the company's product offering to use these guidelines:
* Is the product something that people use every day?
* Is this going to be used in a short time so they have to buy more?
* Do they want to buy more every month or is it just a one-time purchase?
* Would you be proud of the product associated with?
* Would you recommend it to friends and family?
* Do you use yourself?
* Is it something that people look for now?
* Do people who can afford it?

The more you can answer yes to these questions, the better the product line is for you and your business success.

The Compensation Plan

* Do you know how you will make money? If you do not have a full understanding of where your money comes from you will never be in a position to make the most of it, you can. Most of the compensation plan challenging to understand but you must know the basic things are:
* When you get paid?
* How much you get paid?
* Does your investment to get the payment?
* What qualifications do you have to meet in order to get paid?
* What is a system for payout is?

You do not need to know the compensation plan in and out, but the basic understanding is important.

As a suggestion, I will avoid the binary plan that requires you to have the same volume on the two sides of your business to make money. These people robbed of their money worth it because it is very difficult to assess what each distributor will you do every month. In a binary plan, money is always left on the table for the company to benefit from. Finding a plan that will pay you top dollar on all the volume you accumulate in your business regardless of what the leg or the current volume level.

You also want to find a plan that pays above consistently when you build your business. Reward you when you first register and others require a large amount of business before you ever see a dime. Finding one that will pay you if today was your first day or you have a team of 1000.

Timing

The people who brag about and take advantage of opportunities in the basement talking about joining with a company in the formulation stage. There are 4 stages to successful business growth.

1. Formulation-This is the stage of the company founder.
2. Concentration - This is where employees and financing is added along with product improvements.
3. Momentum - Here the product and the concept became popular and people began to hear more about it while sales began to grow exponentially.
4. Stability - The base was built and consumption growth slowed to a stable level.

Tremendous wealth created by people who started on the formulation stage, but be careful, many of the "ground floor" opportunity is unstable and in many cases did not succeed. * What systems and techniques they use to build their business?
* Can you easily imitate what they do?
* Can they teach you to become a master marketer and how to become a leader in your company?

Finding the right team is the most important part of your business. In fact, most products can be sold, most of the compensation plan can be beneficial, most companies can have at least decent growth but if you do not have a system to train your team and you duplicate your efforts wasted time, money and energy on something that does not will never work!
